1. HEAD - FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT
-To assist the Head of Financial Management Section, Group Finance Department in planning, organizing andproviding effective financial and accounting management services to the Company and Group for -Investment,SIRIM Retirement Benefit Scheme Fund, Corporate Finance, Costing and Financing activities.
-Plan and provide technical expertise in the management and execution of SIRIM Berhad investment operations in order to achieve/exceed the investment income as per Business Plan & Budget.
-Plan, forecast and provide technical expertise in analysing SIRIM Berhad’scash flow position, financing requirement for the next three to five years and to propose suitable financing arrangement to Management and Board (if necessary).
-Lead, plan and provide technical expertise in evaluating investment proposals from fund managers and recommendations to Management, Board and Trustee.
-Lead, plan and provide technical expertise in monitoring and reporting the performance of investment portfolios managed by fund managers to Management, Board and Trustee.
-Lead, plan and provide technical expertise in securing bank borrowings and other long term financing (if any).
-Lead, plan and provide technical expertise in evaluating application/proposal for Venture fund or Joint Venture arrangement.
-Lead, plan and provide technical expertise in due diligence study on companies targeted for Joint Venture arrangement/acquisition by SIRIM.
-Lead, plan and provide technical expertise in investment valuation of private companies for Joint Venture /acquisition.
-Lead, plan and provide technical expertise in preparation of quarterly/ annually financial status report of SBRBS to Management, Board and Trustee.
-Lead, plan and provide technical expertise to improve SIRIM Berhad financial and accounting system and process.
-Lead, plan and provide technical expertise to SBUs on implementation of SIRIM Berhad’s Capital -Budgeting Procedure (IRR), Costing for Pricing Guidelines and Position Grade Dimension.
-Plan and provide technical expertise in preparation of Group Finance Departments and SIRIM Berhad’s -Annual Business Plan and Budget in line with the company guideline and strategic plan.
-Plan and manage the safe keeping of financial records and documents to ensure compliance with -Companies Act and other statutory requirements.
-Involve in functional/operational committees and provide technical expertise in business and financial improvement process to improve efficiency and productivity.
-Coach and motivate staff to increase productivity.
-Identify competency required to achieve job objectives and attend all training according to training plan.
-Ensure all planned trainings for staff are completed according to training plan.
-Possess a minimum basic degree in Accountancy/Finance/Investment Analysis.
-Minimum 9 years working experience in conducting due diligence study, share equity valuation, bank financing, investment analysis, capital budgeting and costing analysis.
-Knowledgeable in SIRIM Group’s business and operational activities.
-Strong analytical thinking, proactive, creative and always open to new ideas and insights.
-Good communication and negotiation skills.
-Ability to work under tight deadlines and handle or lead multiple projects at the same time.
-Highly motivated and very good in taking initiative.
-Possess interpersonal and influencing skills to build the appropriate level of rapport with management and staff.
